The annual Professor Layton Secret Santa was a few days back C:

with Prompt 3: In a turnaround from the usual scenario, Layton gets kidnapped and Luke and Flora rescue him.

Clouds are still lots of fun! I think I've gotten better at those. Hot air balloons are also lots of fun.

PS Flora is awesome and made the whole plan to rescue Layton. Luke helped!

Hopefully they won't drop him...

Critique is awesome as always. Especially for backgrounds and ~reflective lighting~ and stuff

My, my........I thought this was official art, by the looks of the clouds and the colors!! I think you've done a lovely job! I think the characters and the scenery (the fields and stuff) are more reflective of your personal style, but those CLOUDS. And you even included the parrot!!! Holding Luke's lost hat! Brilliant. This is beautiful. Nice!
